Stouffer’s is running a campaign for its single-serve Mac Cups, hoping to appeal to the growing number of Americans who eat snacklike foods for a meal. A stop-motion ad from JWT calls attention to the “convenient cup” the macaroni and cheese comes in, and print ads conspicuously lack dining-room table moments. “It was really important to make it clear that this wasn’t just for dinner. That’s why you see that relaxed imagery and people away from the table,” said Eric Weisberg of JWT New York.
