CPG companies can expect to see total global sales from e-commerce exceed $3 trillion over the next five years, with between 3% and 10% of CPG companies’ revenues being generated by online sales, says Mondelez Global Head of E-Commerce Cindy Chen, who also notes that more than half of CPG growth will come from the e-commerce sector in the next few years. The forecast has companies like Mondelez working with agencies such as Razorfish to increase online sales and presence as consumers embrace e-commerce.
