7437_1920x600Hershey is exploring the option of replacing the high fructose corn syrup in some of its products with sugar, according to chief research and development officer Will Papa, who said the company “take[s] into account what consumers want. And consumers are telling us between the two, they prefer sugar.” The company currently uses a mix of sugar and HFCS in its products. No timeline has been given for the transition as yet.
